Product Description
Gaara Export supplies IQF frozen strawberries from Egypt, produced from the Festival and Fortuna varieties. The berries are fully red outside and inside, reach Brix levels of up to 11, and are available for export from January to May.
From field to freezer
Strawberries are harvested at full ripeness, washed and hulled, then individually quick-frozen (IQF) at –40°C within less than four hours of picking. Each berry freezes separately, so the product stays loose and free-flowing and never clumps, keeping its natural colour, aroma and texture through transport and storage.
Presentations and sizes
- Whole — 15 – 25 mm and 25 – 35 mm
- Halves and slices
- Diced — cubes from 10 × 10 mm to 20 × 20 mm
All presentations are available calibrated or uncalibrated.
